Privacy Policy

SafeKeep VPN privacy notice for the website, administration panel and related service operations. This is a product draft and must be aligned with the production backend, actual data flows and applicable law before publication.

1. Information we may process

2. Why information is used

To provide and secure accounts, operate the VPN service, manage subscriptions/renewals and voucher, prevent misuse, investigate security events, provide support, maintain service reliability and meet applicable legal obligations.

3. Data minimisation

SafeKeep should not collect information merely because it is technically available. The production implementation should document each data category, purpose, retention period and access role.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be shared with hosting, infrastructure, payment, communications or security providers only where required for the service and subject to appropriate contractual and security controls. Do not claim that data is never shared until the production provider list is finalized.

5. Security

Use access controls, secure authentication, encryption in transit, protected credential storage, audit logging and least-privilege administration. Passwords must never be stored as plain text.

6. Retention

Retention periods must be defined from actual operational and legal requirements. Do not promise automatic deletion periods until the backend implements them.

7. User rights and requests

Provide a clear process for applicable access, correction, deletion, objection or other privacy requests. The final policy should identify the responsible privacy contact and applicable jurisdiction.

8. Cookies and analytics

Describe only cookies, analytics and tracking that are actually deployed. If none are used, the production policy should say so rather than copying a generic cookie statement.

9. Children

The final policy should state the intended minimum age and how the service handles information relating to children, consistent with applicable law.

10. Changes and contact

Material changes should be reflected in the published policy with an updated effective/revision date and an appropriate notice method. Privacy contact details must be added before publication.

Compliance note: this page is operational/product guidance, not legal advice. Final publication should be reviewed against SafeKeep’s actual data flows and applicable law.

Terms of Use

1. Your SafeKeep Account

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity performed through your account. SafeKeep IDs and usernames must not be shared in a way that compromises account security.

2. Account Status & Renewal

Accounts can have an expiry date. An expired account may be suspended until an authorized renewal is completed. Renewal periods, permissions and voucher charges depend on the account role and the production service rules.

3. voucher

voucher are service balances used for supported account operations. The initial Super Admin allocation is one-time; automatic top-ups are 2,000 vouchers. Transfers and voucher-consuming actions should be recorded in the service history.

4. SafeKeep ID & Security

SafeKeep IDs identify accounts. Users must protect credentials and devices. Blocked IDs may require an authorized unblock process and, where applicable, a voucher charge.

5. Responsible Use

The VPN must not be used to facilitate unlawful activity, unauthorized access, fraud, malware distribution, abuse of networks, or interference with systems or services. South African law includes provisions addressing unauthorized access and interference with data and systems.

6. Service Availability

Availability can depend on server health, maintenance, network conditions, upstream providers and other technical factors. No uninterrupted availability should be promised unless the production service contract expressly provides it.

7. Service Changes

SafeKeep may update features, servers, security controls, account rules and documentation. Material changes should be communicated through the official update channel or other appropriate notice.

8. Account Suspension

Accounts may be suspended for expiry, security restrictions, misuse, fraud or other documented service reasons. Suspension reasons should be recorded internally and users should receive appropriate notice where required.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the final SafeKeep Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements. In South Africa, POPIA provides conditions for lawful processing of personal information.

10. Acceptance

The final production flow should present the current Terms of Use and require acceptance where legally or operationally appropriate.

Last reviewed for this panel: September 2026. Final effective date, company legal name, jurisdiction and contact details must be inserted before publication.

What's New at SafeKeep

Read product news and service notices. Authorized Super Admin owners can draft, publish, and remove portal updates.

Security & Privacy
Security Center and Privacy Policy sections have been expanded to separate actual product controls from production-backend requirements.
Account & Renewal
Account expiry, renewal, voucher transfer and suspension rules are being aligned with role permissions.
Servers
Server management now keeps SSH, VPN, network and monitoring information under one Servers destination.

13. Relationship to Terms of Use

This policy forms part of the SafeKeep service rules and should be read together with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other applicable service documentation.

If a provision of this policy is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions should continue to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Contact

For acceptable-use questions or abuse reports, use the official SafeKeep support channels published in the portal. Contact details should be finalized and maintained by SafeKeep before production publication.

Policy review note: This page is operational documentation and is not legal advice. Final publication should be reviewed for the actual SafeKeep entity, jurisdiction, service architecture and applicable law.

VPN Control — Live Data Connection

Connect this feature to its matching backend endpoint. Settings are stored in this browser. A successful test confirms endpoint reachability only; actual feature syncing requires the server API to implement this feature's data contract.

Not connected — configure and test your backend endpoint.

Import VPN Configuration

Import a JSON configuration for review and local portal storage. Validate profiles before publishing. Never paste private keys, passwords, access tokens or production secrets into a shared browser.

Bot Notify

Shared app notification feed

Stage 53 adds the authenticated API feed used by the Android app. To publish announcements, use the Super Admin authenticated API endpoint documented in README_SAFEKEEP_STAGE53_APP_NOTIFICATIONS.md. This browser-only preference panel does not itself publish notifications.

Configure notification preferences for account expiry, published servers, network updates and maintenance. Delivery requires a configured notification provider or backend.

Chat Room

Support communication settings. This portal build provides a configuration placeholder; live multi-user messaging requires an authenticated real-time backend.

Network & Config Updates

Prepare a release note for network or VPN configuration changes, review the current catalog, and publish the configured server/network catalog through the SafeKeep admin API. This does not create server infrastructure or guarantee that a remote VPN endpoint is online.

Recent update notes

Update notes are stored in this browser. Publishing requires API Management in Backend mode, a valid Super Admin owner token, and valid client profiles for all servers. Force Publish sends force_publish=true and update_mode=force; the backend must explicitly implement these fields. This catalog endpoint is not automatically a general announcement feed, and online delivery depends on backend/app support.

JSON Configuration

View, validate, import and export the portal's local server/network catalog. Imports update this browser's catalog; they do not automatically deploy a server or publish a catalog to Android. Use the publish action and configured API for live sync.

Xray URI / JSON & VPN Config Drafts

Parse supported Xray share links (VLESS, VMess, Trojan and Shadowsocks where supported) or edit an Xray JSON configuration. Save drafts locally for review. Drafts are not deployed to a server or published to Android until you explicitly publish a validated profile through a configured backend. Never paste private keys or admin tokens here.

Saved local drafts

Security note: Xray URIs may contain UUIDs, passwords or other credentials. Drafts are stored in this browser's local storage and are not encrypted. Use a trusted device and export/share only when appropriate.
